I wonder how often hidden power structures derail good ideas. Teamwork, a beautiful concept often marred by ego. Thinking about that time our school project imploded because nobody would listen to anyone else. It was a communication nightmare. I remember suggesting a compromise, but to no avail. This whole experience was like a badly played , no one could see the patterns to group things together! We ended up submitting something half-baked and embarrassing.
